Charlotte Bayle designs sculptures of human body parts seeking a certain realism, through the choice of materials and the scale of the creations. His productions are for the most part casts made from his own body.
There are two distinct series of pieces: dolls and fragments. the attitudes and positions of the dolls evoke a certain instability. Above all, it is the expressiveness and the incarnation that appeal, even though the works are faceless, therefore anonymous.
All these realistic and disturbing details induce a particular atmosphere: solitude seizes the voyeur who becomes witness to the fragility of existence.
